Ilan Mochari has received a Literature Artist Fellowship
grant from the Somerville
Arts Council. Writers Sam Cha and Catherine Nichols are the other
recipients in the literature category.
For his community benefit project, Ilan is conducting three
writing workshops with 3rd - 6th grade students at The
Healey School. All participating students will receive a bound booklet of
the stories, poems, and illustrations created during the workshops.
This program is supported in part by the Somerville Arts
Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts
Cultural Council.
About Ilan Mochari
Ilan Mochari’s fiction has been published
in Keyhole and honored by Glimmer Train.
He has also written for Inc, Fortune Small Business, and CFO. He has a B.A. in English from Yale University,
where he studied with Harold Bloom and Kate Walbert.
